2025 adidas® Windy City National Qualifier
APRIL 18-20, 2025
Construction Impact for Travelers
We want to make you aware of upcoming traffic changes that may impact your employees and guests traveling to and from downtown Chicago. The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has announced that beginning March 18, construction on the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) will require the closure of the reversible mid-gate entrance and exit for the express lanes.
During this phase of construction:
- Drivers who enter the express lanes will not be able to exit until they reach the Edens Expressway at Foster Avenue.
- Travelers heading to O’Hare International Airport from downtown Chicago will NOT be able to access the airport from the express lanes and should remain on the mainline/local lanes of the Kennedy Expressway.
This work is part of the larger Kennedy Expressway rehabilitation project, which is scheduled for completion by Thanksgiving 2025. We encourage members to communicate these changes to your staff and departing guests to help minimize travel disruptions.
For additional details, please visit the IDOT website.
We recommend booking convenient and affordable parking in advance through SpotHero, the nation's leading parking reservations app.
